The client who approached me was aspiring to open up a restaurant that specialized in soul food and Chinese cuisine in one blended menu. I drew up this design using Canson illustrating paper and Prismacolor pencils. I then scanned it into the computer and manipulated it using my Wacom Drawing tablet and Adobe Photoshop cc. After the sketch was imported I used the trace tool feature and then filled each section with its respective colors using the fill tool. A few beveled circles was placed behind the image to make it seem as if the dragon was lying on a dinner plate. The font used on top reiterates the oriental flavors within the image. A dragon with an afro perfectly seeks attention toward this upcoming restaurant.
